Camaro SS - Service
Discussion
Hi,
I have been searching and searching on here for ages trying to find a garage to service my Camaro SS (2000), but without any luck!
I am actually looking for one specific garage -- but I can not for the life of me remember its name. It is well known as a really good garage and does work on gt40s, vipers corvettes etc. I believe the guy who runs the shop did a lot of sva work or similiar for a lot of the gt40s. The garage is in south England - does anybody have any clue what the name of this garage is?
Cheers,

I believe the company you're thinking of is Ian Goss Services in Surbiton. Never used him myself but he has a very good reputation in the Corvette community. The website is www.iangoss.co.uk

Any good mechanic can service on of these, all it needs is fluid and filter changes for the most part and a once over. Its easy to do yourself let alone paying a fortune for an "expert" to do it. You don't even need any special tools the German car makers love to use.

If the service of the shop is good when the clutch is done, I'll have additional engine work done also, assuming the shop is set up to do head and cam upgrades etc.
Cheers

What sort of cam are you thinking of? Have you had a look at Texas Speed & Performance Torquer V.3? Think that's the sort of cam I'd go for with a manual and maybe some stage 1 heads. Would also need LT's and probably some 4.10's in the rear but it'll make plenty of power and change the car.
