Cadillac CTS 2005 - 2008
Discussion
Hi
I'm very seriously looking at getting one of these now and was just wondering if there is anything I should look out for in terms of faults/irritations. Main reason being that Cadillac dealers and service outlets are so few and far between. I know there aren't many CTS's about but any tips would be useful!
Also, does anyone know a good specialist in the Berks/Hants/Wilts area that might be able to look after it?
Thanks in advance

05 model year had a door lock problem that was resolved under warranty. Some 05 and 06 model years suffered with pressure build up in the rear diffs, resulting in and oil leak - again a warranty item.
That's it. Stratstone have some temptingly cheap cars at the moment. 6.5k for a 3,000 mile V6 saloon is very good value!
Don't bother with the 2.8 - the 3.6 goes far better and does identical fuel economy.
The rare 3.6 sport (rather than sport luxury) has better brakes, suspension and 18" wheels, but loses sat nav.

Just bought one James!! 3.6 Sport lux with NAV. I you will never guess for how much!!! I even found out I know the person who owned it rememeber Pentagon freight? Small world
Yes I do! Know the car well. You're driveway must look like a CCH forecourt now!Must say that I've been tempted by the prices - I was looking around some of the cars that I used to drive about in whilst at Wavendon the other week. Decided that I need a convertible for the summer though - I'm sure that Pendragon will have a field full come winter though (at which point I'll pick up one of the few 3.6 sports (no nav but better handling) that they wont know what to do with.
Did Mr 'Pentagon Freight Services' p/x it with you or did you buy it from Stratstone (he was always going to buy either a new '09 CTS or STS...)
No bought from Stratstones Birmingham! Yes Strats! The deal was so good got the car with new Mot and Service the book was missing but got Steve to stamp up a new one! Also fitted the Mesh Grill for the extra bling!! Not sure if he bought a STS as I know he really wanted one, Strange thing is I also use to see this car around the Area!
