Dodge Charger/Magnum
Discussion
I rented one of these a couple of weeks ago and quite enjoyed it - it certainly made a change from the usual hyundai rental car( or the truly horrid chevy cobalt I had this weekend)
I have found a couple of nicely priced/specced chargers & magnums in the local dealers, and I am tempted, I am wondering about reliability etc and so if anyone's run on of these and can feed back experiences I'd be grateful. The models i have found tend to be the more potent of the V6's and I have found a couple with AWD, which may be helpful as I drive on/in snow for most of the winter. Although I have heard that the traction control or whatever they call it is pretty effective,
Any tips gratefully received
cheers

Ah yes, just been cross-country in the Stang and even with a 2 year old, it's cramped. Much better in the 4th gen Camaro though. I suspect the V8 Chargers must be way better than the V6s. Sadly, despite the great styling, once inside it was just like driving an old Merc for me. Maybe an SRT-8 would change my mind.
Personally, I'd be looking for a Pontiac GTO if there was enough room in the back or a Cadillac CTS-V, last generation, with the C5 Z06 motor. Mmmm, now that's a car!

theres a budget issue, I can pick up a 2 year old charger for between 6-8k sterling, for a V8 in daytona spec i'd need to fork out 16k and have a lime green motor, the pontiac that was the monaro are a bit thin on the ground here, as they stopped doing the v8 here for a couple of years(super charged 6 instead) - the new ones only just come out and its more than i want to pay.
