Louder Exhausts for a Camaro
Discussion
Stock cats do a pretty effective silencing job so you can junk the rear silencer and just get some new pipe bent and welded in. It's a single pipe over the axle so you just need a y-piece and the appropriate lengths of pipe.
However, if you fancy a nice stainless system that won't rip your wallet out, have a day out to Cardiff and visit Charlie at www.pro-speedexhausts.com who will make you one up.
Thing is that cut-outs are all very well but by the time you pay the shipping and duty, it's not particulary cheap.

Thanks for the wisdom. Looks like a few phone calls now required to see what the recommended poeple say and charge.
How do I contact Ian Goss? Is he still in business? His web site appears to have ceased to be (it is an ex-website) http://www.iangoss.co.uk/

I hope thats not chrome... in fact I bet Mrs Mighty is bloody glad its not!
Custom Chrome are based in the midlands but have fitters around the country I believe and do bespoke performance exhaust systems. The exhaust on ours was fitted before we got it and I was thinking at first of swapping to a Borla adjustable system, but I'm getting quite fond of what we've got now.

Mine is just a side pipe installed before the cat with a 3 bolt cap and a down pipe that I bolt on when the cap is off so it doesn't start a fire. It dumps just after where the passengers feet are. Sounds like a Lancaster coming in on a wing and a prayer but it's a cheap effective install with no special import parts necessary.
