Exhaust for LS1 Camaro
Discussion
Hi guys, I've been lurking for a while but this will be my first post.
After about 10 years or so without a yank (previously owned a '72 318ci Charger and a '71 350ci Camaro) I'll hopefully be buying a 2001 Z28 Camaro in the next few week.
The car that I have my eyes on is coming over from Japan and from the pictures I've seen it definitely appears to be fitted with a plain single exhaust (didn't even know they did those)! Now there's no way I want that...just doesn't suit the car and I want a nice V8 rumble! So, before I even drive it away from the dealers I want a new system fitted.
I've read up a bit on some of the US forums and have listened to some soundclips (sad, I know!) and reckon' a Borla Catback system would probably be to my liking and help a tad with performance. Has anyone got any opinions on this combo (LS1 + Borla)? Seems a lot of people go for the Magnaflow or Flowmaster instead, both of which seem readily available over here.
Cheers
David
