OK, so this is a Photoshop of a Pontiac Solstice and an Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione. But I think the result is stunning. Imagine this running Corvette underpinnings

Yes, what would they call that? Oh yeah, a Corvette! They do fit aftermarket LS2's to these puppies but IIRC they weigh more than a Corvette and of course the Corvette has luggage space.

Shame as I recall the original Vauxhall Lightning concept which more like a mini-Corvette. Shame the reality never hit the spot. I also recall a drawing of a Lightning GT Coupe which really made me want one.

Fair enough, I guess it wouldn't take too much to turn this into a Corvette, but I like the idea of in-house rivals.

Time for a new Banshee?
