Compatibility question Chrysler 300C
Discussion
Hi All,
Bought a 300C this year as the main cruiser and wondered if anyone knew whether it would fit in a normal ARC car wash?
Since English does not seem to be the preferred language for the attendants, I wasn't able to find out what the maximum width was the automated system can take - without loosing paint or mirrors...
I have seen an Nissan Narvana go in yesterday, but apperently they are 3cm thinner
The brochure of the 300C states that the width is 1990mm.
Thanks for your help!
Gary.

personally i'd never use an auto car wash, if it's like the one where i work then the brushes get hardly changed so you got all them dirty brush ends with grit and god knows what spinning around.
we have a valeting dept at work and you can always tell cars that have been through an auto wash because they get swirl marks in the paint which are really hard to remove completely once there!
my advice would be to find a good hand car wash, you normally find it's bout the same in price and the wheels will come out nicer.
anyway to answer your question the max width at the one where i work is 6 foot 6 inches but i'm not sure if they are all the same or not.

Thanks for the info. The car wash would have been the exception, rather than the rule. I live on a hill and was looking at alternatives to converting the street into a slide...we have a valeting dept at work and you can always tell cars that have been through an auto wash because they get swirl marks in the paint which are really hard to remove completely once there!
