Tough Mopar Question.....

Here are photos of my 68 Dodge Polara, all standard running gear. I need to know which Torqueflite transmission does it have? I think it has the 727?

Best advice is to get under and take a look. The number should be stamped on it somewhere.

If it is a 318, it will more than likely be an A904, as only hp 340 or 360 small blocks had the A727 trans.

There should be a data tag under the hood on the left inner wing, the 'box code is there, compare it with the codes at www.mymopar.com
