I have only just discovered this forum so wondered what type of yank most of you guys run. Most likely to be cars that aren't covered on other forums?

I've an old 88 Trans Am GTA which is looking increasingly sorry for itself as I've not had time to drive her for nearly 2 years now frown

However if it had a respray, a retrim, new engine, trans rebuild, new exhaust, SFC's, new springs, poly bushes, new breaks & a coat of underseal it would be a really nice car!

Does it ? IMO, No, otherwise you'd have to include all and sundry with American lumps

I'd have gone for a GTO to be honest. That said, was looking at a S/H Monaro for the missus but for some reason hold their value too much, something to do with being R/H drive !! What's that all about ? Mark at rapid-gb put me on to one. The missus went for a merc in the end ! The only saving grace is that at least it's a V8
