Ok, so I've sold the Lexus LS400 and the Cerbera and am now currently driving round in a Nissan Mirca, which just isn't the same to be honest wink

The upcoming house sale should free up a few pennies if all goes well and and classic american muscle car seems just the thing to stop me pining after the Cerb.

More specifically I've fallen in love with this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/156536.htm

Now, I doubt this will still be up for sale by the time my cash is freed up, but is it a good price for a good car? I have no knowledge of US cars at all, and this would be my only car, but only used at weekends as I commute via train during the week. Am I total fool for considering something like that? What else could I get that is similar? I'm not interested in anything modern.

I am tempted by the knight rider trans-am to tide me over till I have more spare cash though wink

hard to say without seeing really, the owner is being nice and honest about some rust, and it looks pretty clean from the pics, and the mechanical spec sounds fun. The late 60's early 70's muscle seems to keep slowly rising in value so probably not massively of the mark, and will be an investment unlike the Lexus (Cerbs - I reckon will hold value or even start to climb,).
