Hey people. my younger sis is having a prom at her school on the 30th of june and it would be great if she had something a bit special to take her there? (of course a thank you in the form of few quid will be involved) but i thought it would be great if she could have something big and american and maybe convertible?

Not wanting to wet anyone's chips, but a word to the wise....
Council Officials, VOSA & the Police are attending more & more Proms looking for unlicensed Limo's and other "Special Occasion" vehicles.
If you do volunteer a car for any Prom make sure you are doing as a "free favour for a mate" and no money (or reward) has taken place that can be traced back. Even £xx to cover fuel is classed as Hire & Reward.

We did 2 Proms last week, in 2 different Counties. 1 had a council offical taking reg numbers and pictures of the cars dropping kids off the other did not appear to be attended by any officials (though it was an early drop off).
Charges can range from no suitable Insurance (Hire & Reward), using an unlicensed Private Hire vehicle (for Areas that license Special Occasion vehicles) to various C&U offences.

As long as somebody is doing for a "freebie" there is no offence, it's only when money (or other reward) takes place.
If you were to lend somebody £xx indefinatly before (or after) I doubt there would be a problem..... tongue out

Hi GTS Turbo

I might be able to help. I did this for my niece last year and arranged a fleet of 4 identical GT3 RS's for the head and deputy head girl and boys. It made a spectacular entrance.

I wouldn't require payment and depending on timing, I could take your sister in a Ford GT or a Porsche GT3 RS. Sorry, but neither are convertible. Let me know if you can't find anything more suitable.
