newbie with a question, yank shows?

hi, i posted here ages back asking bout mustangs (before they got there own lil spot) and was given loads of advice thanks for that!

anyway i'd love to go to some yank car shows this year as i feel my next car will be something american. likely a camaro or mustang and would love to learn a bit more bout american cars in general and where better to start than a few shows!

i live in essex inbetween basildon and chelmsford so if anything happens show wise round here i'd love to know!

whats a good place to start to find out about local events?

Well you missed Damn Yankees which was on over the last bank holiday wkend over at North Weald.There will be another there in Sept.You are best off getting a copy of Classic American magazine.It has a full events listing in there.

the next big event I can think of of is the summer nationals at Billing aquadrome, near Northhampton. Not too far from you and big event with 1000's of cars there..

The Enfield Pageant is this weekend. Not sure of the details as I've not gone before, but google is your friend.



With regard to Mustangs there are a few regular meets in/around Herfordshire, not sure if that's too far from you. Have a look at the owners club, www.mocgb.net/forums for details.
