Chevvy Cruze starting issue

Hi.
It doesn't start when cold. Not the glow plugs. Had the module changed. The first time, it fixed it and lasted for a year. Second time, kind of fixed it for three days. Garage says its probably ECU which we've no interest in doing (car is only worth about £600 if that as someone drove into my back bumper so that was written off but I decided to keep it).
I really like the car and it's starting fine at the moment as it's not the middle of winter. I will need to look at getting something else over the summer - unless there's something else it could be? If it's fixable at ok sort of money, I wouldn't mind keeping it, as other than the starting issue, it's a good car. 2012 plate.
