Good luck with that - I posted a similar request 2 years ago when I got my camaro, Joined aac. was sent a few emails regarding local meets, I went to 2 - no-one else turned up maybe because it wasn't sunny??
During this summer went to a few classic shows where there were plenty of well polished yanks, talking to the owners it became apparent they never went/attended if there was any sign of inclement weather, and as for going for a drive - forget it they wern't interested. I live in mid wales - if you make it over this far west I'd be happy to meet up for a beer and or a drive
Good luck

Hey, I'm from Spalding so can't be far from you. There are a few smaller, informal meets that go on around here but mostly in the summer. Must admit I didn't bother last summer, just enjoyed driving my cars.
I find Facebook the best option for this.
Have a look at these for next spring/summer

The-Great-North-Road-Vintage-and-Classic-Vehicle-Gathering used to do winter meets on Sunday mornings at Stibbington Dinner on the A1. Was always a good turn out, not sure if that still happens.

I'm not on Facebook, but I'll see if I can have a nose at those pages. Cheers!

I've put 1000 miles on my El Camino since I got it on the road last month, and the weather has been atrocious. I bought it to enjoy, not gather dust! I'll certainly give you a shout if I'm ever over in the wild west!During this summer went to a few classic shows where there were plenty of well polished yanks, talking to the owners it became apparent they never went/attended if there was any sign of inclement weather, and as for going for a drive - forget it they wern't interested.
