Don’t post much then post twice in a week !
With current changes to petrol grades moving to E10/E5 what would you run in an old Ford V8 engine ? If I understand correctly E5 is basically replacing old fuel and E10 is for more modern cars. Is this like the old move from leaded to unleaded and we need to add back what’s missing or would an old V8 run perfectly well on the ‘new’ fuel. Googled around and websites only seem to cover certain cars till the 90’s ?

Super unleaded will remain at E5.
E5 has been standard in the UK for many years so if you were happy with the fuel up to now but are unsure about the new E10 then stick to super unleaded going forward.
