Its '68, you can tell by the door glass, production of the 68 models started in August '67 (as does all next years models) so even if manufactured in 67, it still a 68.
Get onto some of the many UK American car groups on Facebook, many owners & former owners are on them & so should recognise it.

Thats great news - how far away from you is it now? - I'd love to know where some of my old vehicles are now.........being honest - after I'd finished with most of them I'm guessing scrap soon after.

Flickr image is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128691640@N04/484151...

If you set up an account on Flickr you can then message the person who took the photo, Nivek.old.gold. Location isn't given for the photo, but the guy who took it's profile says he's based in Cambridge so good chance it's round there.

That Nivek chap has an odd taste in cars to photograph- I was expecting lots of interesting things, but..old Transit pick up, old Fiestas, Polos. Each to his own! Actually, all together, they have a strange fascination!

Sounds like there's every chance it could be in the original colours when your dad owned it ,

Still on it's woofies by the looks of it. Talk about time stood still .

How good would that be if you could buy it back. thumbup

Somebody will recognise it especially as it is probably still in the same guise it was in all those years back then.

Strikes me that who ever own's it now is stuck in the same time bubble we all seem to be in other wise i think it would have

had a colour change by now. as you say early days ,got a feeling it will turn up eventually.

I expect you've seen the white 440 Challenger on E=Bay at £32k , nearer a real world price if a nice car and surprised the

427 C3 roadster still there ,noticed it's also got a detachable hard top ,best of both worlds.

Not done any work on the cars as to cold and been preoccupied with visits to the vet over the last few days ,sadly had to have

one of the boys put down yesterday , My 2nd attempt as i couldn't go through with it the 1st time .

As cold as it was i took the him in the Roadster as that was always his favourite.

Ye i've been backwards and forwards to the vet for the last 5/6 weeks and he didn't have much time left before it became cruel

so braced myself for the inevitable but still hits you hard . not the first time and won't be the last but doesn't get any easier.

My other two boys are confused and keep looking for him. Would be good for you to get another dog especially as your son-in-law is

a vet, a bitter sweet occupation , If you do get another it may surprise you just how you've managed to be without one for so long.

Only problem for me having the three dogs were holidays , even dog friendly places were not to keen hence my love

of the beach during the summer months, saves me having to go away.

Saw that Charger, don't know where their figures come from and it doesn't look that nice especially in satin black , compared
with that 427 C3 Vette for £30k

Could have two of them and some change ,and it looked mint ,couldn't find it tonight so think it's sold. Not surprised at that money.

Challenger is about right then , strange to have green interior with white, chances are it probably had a colour change from green,

not the end of the world if done well.

Good news for you if it sells for that sort of money.

Yeah the White car was 38000, but been reducing every couple of months, its up the M2 from me in Rochester , makes one wonder what the Camaro would be worth? seemingly unmessed with for 40 odd years, 396 SS/RS maybe only second to a DZ302 ??? i know Copo cars are the holy grail but 95% of them are fake!

My old man had dozens of interesting cars over the years but this one was a bit special , i never got any reply from my Ex regarding the photos so probably wont ever be able to search out my old rag top, which is a shame as dad and i owned them at the same time ................

Keep the search up, a lot of owners have these cars and never go to any shows and just keep them berried away,

Only other way is the DVLA use to give you the keepers details for special reasons, You would have to tell a white lie or two,

My mate would write to DVLA if a none regular customer didn't pay his bill or if someone hit your car and drove off ,things like that

but with this data protection now not sure if they have tightened up on it.

Might be worth a phone call to them to find out the procedure..

Can't get into anything today just killing time before my jab and just before the weekend..
