LT4 2v/c 650hp

Anyone into their Vettes? GM put a 6.2l supercharged v8 into a vette, making 650hp at the crank with only 2 valves per cylinder. I didn't even realise that was possible with the area loss of having only a single intake valve. Thoughts?

An engine is only a 'pump'. "Huff" it - pump-in more fuel and air under pressure = more power. Whether its a blower, turbo or chemical supercharging (nitrous oxide) the result is more or less the same. And continue the process for more power until it goes 'bang'. Its all much the same as a big cube engine but in a smaller package.
