Hi, New to Forum, I've just imported a 68 Suburban K2500 6.5TD and would appreciate any recommendation on a garage to do my servicing and other maintenance work on it. Contacted a few places but they refused due to no experience working on a big diesel. I'm based in Luton Bedfordshire but willing to travel 100miles. Thanks in advance.

In the absence of any other suggestions so far, I note that the original Hummer H1 shares the 6.5 turbodiesel engine. So you could try ringing up a dealer that is selling a Hummer, like this one https://www.neilbainbridge.com/Cars/Details/10943/... , and ask 'if I buy that, where would I get it serviced in this country?' ;-) Anyone who can do a Hummer could probably service your Chevy with the same engine and gearbox.
