Wrangler tj 4.0

I owned and liked a lot a late nineties 4.0 wrangler manual with the 5 speed box. Am looking at a late 2006 model with a 6 speed manual. Does this box add any driveability to the car? More than aware of their shortfalls so not looking to be reminded of them, just wondered if 6th was any taller making it rev lower on road, maybe even another few mpg, although that's not an issue as its lifted on bigger wheels and tyres so economy will be apalling anyway.
