Just as the title says.... anyone know a reputable tuning shop for big block chevys in the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire area? Or even further afield if they're the right place.

I have a built 454, which runs OK, but it needs a bit of fine tuning, dialing in the carb mainly and sorting some minor issues, and I'd like to have it done properly on a dyno.

Also, need some help with possibly replacing the driveshaft. Any recommendations would be useful.

You could try contacting ICE Automotive Racing at Silverstone Circuit and ask them if they know anyone?
They only have a shop dyno, but they build a lot of SBC's & BBC's for drag racing and circuit racing, so might be able to point you in the right direction?

I little bit further north at Doncaster and you have John Sleath - has engine dyno and rolling road - well respected builder or BBC powered stuff.

Hi Steven
ICE as above, give Rob and Nick a ring, they should know of a rolling road locally.
As for a driveshaft, what do you need? I work in a race/hotrod shop and we can upgrade driveshafts to bigger u/j's and supply HD yokes etc.
Aluminium driveshaft? or even a carbon one

Nick and Rob at ICE Automotive for sure, there isn't a lot those two don't know about how to get the most out of an engine. They are beyond perfectionist!

Another option is Williams Brothers Racing, just a bit further up the A43 and up the A5 at Towcester. They have an engine dyno and can tune the engine for you.

They compete in Super Stock drag racing where they have to get everything thing in terms of power out of a stock block, heads and intake. So again, they know how to tune and wring out and engine for performance.
