Have a Ford F-250 6.0 diesel thinking about getting a egr delate to prolong engine
There is a guy down Bristol somewhere doing engine rebuild on a powerstroke
He is on Facebook can’t seem to find him I’m Lincolnshire but will travel for the right
People to do the job. Any pointers will be appreciated

Ashworth Automotive is who you're thinking of, I don't personally know the guy but I follow his work & he definitely knows what he's doing. The only other person I can think of is John Sleath, he's built an S10 with a Duramax that runs 8's. I don't know if he's got any experience with 6.oh's. There's more than just doing an egr delete to making them last as I'm sure you've already read. Have a look on Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forum, it has a section for your engine & the guys there are all pretty helpful (unlike some of the s on PH)

Those engines can become very problematic if a tune is applied as the head bolts are not that strong making them prone to head gasket issues. As far as I understand, provided that they are kept stock, they will last a long time.
