After 3 years, and a ground up nut and bolt restoration, my ‘68 Charger is now finished. She is original except for the wheels (came with the car) and disc brakes (drums on a car like this is insane). Rolling road tested, MOTd (even though unnecessary) and in original spec (white on red) just in time for her 50th, she will be out and about during 2019. Watch this space for the collection next week (22 Dec) - unless it’s snowing :-)

Nice.

Remember going to see Crazy Larry and Dirty Mary at Stockport c 1978 in my 1971 Vauxhall Ventora with a few mates.

To own a lovely example of a classic muscle car like that in this day and age is a real privilege. After all the blood sweat and tears that have gone into it, not too mention cash, you have to enjoy every minute of it.
Well done, one more saved.....

Looks gash on those wheels....... nono

Would look much better on OEM spec Magnum 500's or at least a set of period style Torque Thrust D's if non-standard size rims are a 'must have'.

Matt I have been waiting 3yrs to drive my car and have not been to any shows/meets in that time. I’m looking forward to meeting other owners and enthusiasts in the New Year. That’s a sweet RT your friend has!

I need to change the wheels. But that’s an easy and cheap swap. Priority is to get some miles on her!

Looks like a good job ! Any more pics ?

PS. Concur with the above - I personally would be looking for some different or original wheels.

I like it on those wheels, OP.
Originality is over-rated when it comes to wheels.

Lovely car, thanks for sharing.
