I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Grizzly 4.0 which I have been doing some minor mods to over the past year or two. Next thing I would like to upgrade is the stereo. Would be nice to have DAB and Bluetooth for playing songs from the phone and perhaps take calls through Bluetooth.

Has anyone done this with the TJ, and anyone have any recommendations?

Haven't done it, but I was thinking about doing a stereo up grade, I also thought, as mine is a street truck really I may build a sub into the rear seat Base for some better quality sound.

That sounds like a good idea. I have a 6 CD changer under the rear seats at the moment, which is a bit outdated, but a decent set of speakers would be good.

I swapped out the ICE in my wife's 2007 Wrangler (JK). I bought a pre-configured ICE wiring harness that replaced the existing one, this differs if there is an amp or not. Also a conversion face plate for the fascia. Then it was a relatively simple job to do the swap. Beware that most Jeep head units are non-DIN standard sizes.
