Importing a used gearbox - how to ship??

All - I've found used parts I need via classifieds from fellow car nuts in USA, know various ways to get em paid, but have no experience with getting stuff from there to here.
Do any of you have experience (please only reply if you know how to do this). The sellers haven't a clue either so I want it to be deliverd from their door to mine, and I'm in a hurry so by air I guess?

Very easy as long as the seller is happy to ship within the USA. Contact Ron Fenton @ STS Imports, he brings stuff over from Florida roughly every 6 weeks. You pay the seller & arrange delivery to STS's Florida warehouse then either collect from their Chelmsford base or Ron can arrange delivery in the UK. He will give you a quote when you contact him. I use his services regularly.

Also try Steve from Kingstown. Much cheaper than STS.
