I am looking to import a few parts from the USA. Front wings (fenders) bumper, bonnet.
Does anyone know of a good method of having these transported from the USA to the UK
That doesn't take forever or cost the earth? I am thinking two -three weeks time frame.

2/3 week time frame, then your looking at air freight and ££££££ simply because of the size of the bits
Better bet cost wise is in a container that somebody else is already bringing in with parts in, but that could be 4 weeks+, (8+ not uncommon) depending on where (East/West or South coast) the container is shipping from & when

As above your time frame means airfreight, I use STS Imports, they have a container roughly once a month, you get your parts shipped to their Florida warehouse & around 5-6 weeks later they're here.

Thanks Guys. I have used STS in the past as well. Excellent service.
Just wondered if anyone offered anything faster these days.Other than air freight. As New York to UK time on water is not so long. But guess its the loading/ unloading, clearing and customs on both sides that makes the time add up. Will just have to plan ahead on parts in the future.

I use Konnect USA for all my bits.
Dave Mawer is the main guy and he is helpful and not expensive.
He has a container about once a month and will also do Air Freight but as other have said, you pay for that!

Dave is Derby based.

Cheers

Looking for the same thing, want a radiator from one company, then a radiator shroud from another company in the usa and need them shipped by the end of next week so that would be air freight. but need a place where they could consolidate the items before shipping to the UK.

If anyone has any contact numbers or website links that would be great thanks

Ron can provide an airfreight service too, he recently arranged for a complete transmission for an American RV that was delivered within a few days for an emergency repair. But it has associated costs!

Anybody used one of these USA address companies where you send parts from different suppliers to one address where they consolidate the packages then send it all in one go?

I need things fast, (air freight)

I and many on the Mustang 6G forum have used stakry. I am useless at anything to do with computers but found it really easy.
