Chrysler 300 3.0 V6 TD. When was the update done?

Does anyone know when the generation 2 so to speak came out in UK and also when the 8 speed gearbox arrived? Thank you.

The VM engined cars were sold 2012-2014. I don't believe any had the 8-speed gearbox (Wikipedia suggests that was 2015 onwards).

I've seen a more recent SRT in RHD with the 8-speed box for sale on Autotrader, which must have come in via the Antipodes. ( http://www.chrysler.com.au/300srt )
