Question; why do you need a girdle for your rear end?
ETA, Does it have have anything to do with the 7.665m(!) dia turbos?
Hmmm, they are pretty small turbo's, aren't they? ETA, Does it have have anything to do with the 7.665m(!) dia turbos?

That should read 76 / 65 which is the inducer 7 exducer size.
The girdle pre-loads the rear end main caps to stop them from walking when it trys to eat itself under power.

Holy st-balls! You seem to be raising your game. Congratulations and keep us posted with your time-slips.
What is the purpose of the tubes that run from the bed cap through/into the rear screen?
That's part of the roll cage Matt. What is the purpose of the tubes that run from the bed cap through/into the rear screen?
It triangulates the bar inside the back of the cab roof to the rear of the chassis.
For NHRA sanctioned tracks, a roll cage is mandatory for any vehicle running 10.99 (6.99) or quicker or exceeding 135 mph in the quarter mile.
This was built with low 9's in mind

Right - I figured so - it just didn't look like it connected to anything on the inside of the rear screen. It triangulates the bar inside the back of the cab roof to the rear of the chassis.

I'm aware, but not very conversant with NHRA cage regs - I don't imagine I'll ever be fast enough (Stock G/S) to need one.
That truck is bad-ass.
The best track in Houston (Royal Purple Raceway) is an NHRA sanctioned track so I need it for there.
Not a great picture but you can see the lower bar behind the seat (for the harnesses) and there's a higher one too that the rear bars connect to.
The doors have swing out bars to I don't have to limbo my fat ass in and out
