Help Identifying a US Classic Car
Discussion
Hi all,
OK, so I was driving in North Orlando on Sunday and noticed a car at a petrol station. It had the look of a '70's'ish era car and I think it had been fettled with the adjustable suspension that they sometimes do in the US (low-rider, bouncy car type thing). Anyway, the really interesting feature of this car which is why I'm trying to identify it was the rear window. It was 'V' shaped, with the point of the V facing front (and therefore into the cabin). It looked like th point of the V may have had a very small pillar (not thick like a split screen Stingray), maybe just a thin piece of metal to hold the two pieces of glass in place.
I now work with a US guy who's a huge enthusiast (he writes for a car mag in his spare time) and he doesn't know what it could be, so I put it to you, the PH colective to see if you have any ideas.
Cheers in advance

If the rear screen in concave (versus convex in the case of a boat-tail Riviera), then I'm guessing either a 72 or 73 Chevy Impala Custom Coupe - rare car, but popular ghetto sled to put on hydraulics. I see one regularly at meets in Orlando.
I think you could be right Matt, and maybe it was just a trick of the light that made it look like a distinctive straight edged 'V', as per this image.Gassing Station | Yank Motors | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
