Anyone got a container coming over next couple months with some space for some tyres?

You might struggle due to the laws about tyre imports. I got some for my 5th wheel but I think that they were "declared" as wheels. Hth

Can you expand on that as I'm not familiar with this law?

Indeed.

I had a set of whitewall tyres come in the same container with my new engine, gearbox and axle a few months ago, and there was no issue?

Well I asked the vendor in the USA and the tyres are e marked so perfectly road legal here and dot dates too, probably going to use sts imports as they have a container leaving in a few weeks.

You could try Keith Beschi at eurovettes.com he has regular containers coming over.

There are rules about tyres made with "dirty rubber" they cannot be sold in the UK or anywhere else in the EU for that matter, if the tyres are E marked then no problem.

Aah, OK.

Well, the tyres I had shipped in are sold here in the UK by North Hants tyres, so I guess they are OK.
