Help locating a 4L60E gearbox for 2wd 1995 Suburban

HELP!!!!!
I'm throwing myself at the mercy of those more knowledgable than myself in the american car scene!
I have a little rough, space shuttle mileage 1995 suburban that I use in France as the steering wheel is on the left of the car, poor drivers tend to stay away from it (far too many dents and scratches from other peoples poor parking in other vehicles) and it generally suits my all round vehicle necessity.
Of course is scratches the itch I had to own one since I was younger also.
However, the gearbox needs replacing as it started to vibrate in reverse and rattle at idle. Checked underneath and there is a decent size crack i the bell housing so time to replace it.
Would rather a decent second hand box as I'm unsure the car is worthy of the cost of a recon box but would rather not have to break for bits.
Anyone know of a 4L60e gearbox for sale or even where to look for one?
Many thanks in advance
