Help - What car should I buy?
Discussion
Hello all, I love all the enthusiasm and knowledge here. I'm new to all this and hope to become an expert in time...probably a long time!
I would like your advice. I have some money tied up in dollars and want to ship a car over to make the best of my buck.
What car should I buy?? I have about $25,000 and can buy from anywhere in America.
Thank you!

Hard to say. Classics tend to be flying up in price, in the US but Wheeler Dealers managed to find some reasonable cars like a 1st gen Camaro or Pontiac GTO.
2nd and 3rd gen F-bodies are starting to get rare and go up in price but the UK is always more tight with the money than Americans.
Really, it's a question of finding a nice, rust free car at the right money that will sell in the UK and that is usually Vettes, pony cars and muscle cars.

Thanks chaps, I am looking to make a smallish profit. The exchange rate is just awful so any profit will do. I am looking at classics but in good working order. A car that someone can customise but doesn't involve an enormous amount of mechanical work as I'm not experienced in mechanics.
