2016 Chevrolet Camaro - buyer beware
Discussion
David Johnson Partnership are advertising what they refer to as 'Chevrolet Camaro 2016'
http://www.davidjohnsonpartnership.com/chevrolet-c...
However all 4 of the new cars on sale, 2 V6s and 2 V8s, from the pictures and descriptions on the website, appear to be fifth generation cars rather than the latest 6 generation cars. While most people aren't going to be fooled by this, my view is that the advert is at best ambiguous and that the dealer should clearly state that these are 2015 model year Camaros. What do people think?
Dsvid Johnson's fifth generation Camaros at just under £37k, aren't much cheaper than the sixth generation cars are available from the official GM dealer, Ian Allan:

Model year and year of registration are always a bone of contention.
The UK is fixated on when a car is registered, not when it was built or its model year. It's not normally an issue until you get a significant change in the model.
Legally they're not doing anything wrong. Morally...........

I agree it is maybe a little wrong morally, but tbh, any buyer should do some research first anyhow. If they don't, then that is their fault.
As for the model year numbers, lets not forget that they start in the year before, which only makes it more confusing.
i.e. we are very close to MY2017 already.

The V6 models are on sale for £27 - 28K - both the V6s advertised at David Johnson have auto transmissions. V8 SS cars £37k from the same dealer.
Was looking at the Ian Allan cars. Sent them an enquiry, but no response. No matter it be a while till I can switch. Will watch with interest-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D87tO7VUs2I

Ah right. As far as I can see from Ian Allan's website, the Euro spec. V8 car is the 2SS with the magnetic suspension/ switchable exhaust costing extra. Surprised IA haven't responded. According to the information I received from them, they'll be at the Goodwood FoS with demonstrators available in June.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D87tO7VUs2I
