At the recent VMax200 event I managed to get the cars mpg down to a lowest ever - and a highest ever on the way home (on a 102 mile journey)

Pretty reasonable for a 6.2litre supercharged 707bhp car. Achieved 182mph indicated, which according to the timing beams was actually 7mph UNDER the actual real speed of 189mph! Must try harder and get a better launch next time.

(Note these figures are British MPG, not US Gallons)

I thought underreading speed was a Very Bad Thing for a car to do? Does it do it lower down the clock as well?

Bloody brilliant job Steve. They are exceptional cars. The first thing I do when I get a new to me motor is stick the SatNav on the screen to verify the cars actual speed. The Hellcat's speedo does under read. My Lightning's speedo is bang on. Next year I plan to run at a couple of VMax events. It is the only way I can stretch its legs without getting into trouble. I've managed 26mpg. Tell me where you running in eco mode?
