Well, not sure what led me here but most petrol heads can't seem to stop modifying.

I have decided to drop the 2.3L Magnuson Heartbeat supercharger and go for a bit more power (living in Germany now). Previously, the car laid down 774bhp and 896ft lbs at Surrey Rolling Road. It did have some fueling and spark limitations so there was potential for a little more power. Took it to pod and ran a 10.60@136mph (2050kg race weight) with the factory manual TR6060.

My goals are to still have a 10 second car but more tailored for high speed autobahn fun. The kit has already been purchase so now its on to the smaller stuff. Hopefully I can have it running by the end of winter and make a trip up to the UK in spring for a V8 meet.

I'll keep the current blower cam in: 230/244 .592/.595 118 LSA

Well, the setup with the maggie was mostly tuned by Pat-G (Patrick Guerra) via remote tuning from stateside. I think the Maggie setup could have ran 9s. That was my only pass at pod and first for the year. There was still many adjustments to be made and no meth.

I only tinkered with minor adjustments. He may be doing the new map since I was happy with the way the car ran. besides, re-map is free with him.

Dose that turbo kit allow filters to be run on the turbos? I like the idea of low mount setups but so many give up the air filters.

Yes it will be able to run filters. I'm probably going to fabricate a skid plate to shield it from splash etc. Here's a link to the kit in action but using PT6262s. My engine is a little bigger as well.

Some updates on the build. The turbo kit has been shipped and should arrive anytime now. All supporting modifications along with fuel system have been installed and ready to go. Hopefully I can find time to install it in the next two weeks or so along with mapping.

Finished up the car and now running 16psi on pump fuel. Ridiculously fun to drive and already claimed a few victims smile

I would guess 900+ assuming decent intercooling

LS3 N/a produces ~420 bhp at atmospheric, 16 psi is about 1 bar, which is double atmospheric - so in theory engine can now produce double the power - 840bhp , less losses takes you closer to 800 i would of thought.
Either way, turbos and intercoolers are the right way to go for big power - look at how many drag cars have ditched chargers for turbos.

That's more about granular "control-ability" from one end of the track to the other..

This is not an LS3 but I guess not too far off. It is a 416ci stroker cammed with ported heads and 10:1 compression (forged).

It is definitely pushing a bit more than 800 as I left a 777rwhp R35 GTR standing still the other night. Before when I had the 2.3L blower, it made 774bhp/896rwtq at surrey. It feels bit quicker now. Tonight I will be running E85 so I should be over 1K.
