Dodge Challenger Hellcat - first drive
Discussion
Well I've loved my SRT8 and it's been my daily for 2 years doing about 18k miles a year and its a lovely big if kit but you do get used to the power so would like a bit more, just can't justify the extra £30k or so to upgrade to a hellcat, that said it would be a shame to use one as a daily as I think they will be future classics and worth looking after a bit more than a daily. Would love to experiance one though.
i think the big shock came for me in that i had only driven Hemi's - no SRT8, so i was missing a level.
In answer to the sideways remark, i had the car in shipping mode and was delivering it that way. The car valet took it off and i wasn't expecting that much extra go-go when i pulled out onto the dual carriage way. it would have broke a lesser man....

Regardless, I'd be very pissed-off with you, if I'd entrusted you with my new car and you ragged it to the point it got sideways. Not a great testimony to the integrity of your business to brag about it on a public forum either. In answer to the sideways remark, i had the car in shipping mode and was delivering it that way. I know it's easy to get cars like this out of shape if you punch them too hard (I have a 392 Scat Pack), but they are also very docile if driven with restraint - which is what a dealer should be doing, in my humble opinion.
