GJC large bang from rear

Hello,

I have a Grand Jeep Cherokee Summit 3.0 Diesel

When parking on a steep hill (facing up) put the thing in park. Then when I put it back into Drive there is a loud bang from the rear of the vehicle. I tried this twice as so make sure I wasn’t imagining things but it’s defiantly there so I won’t be doing it again.

does it have self leveling suspension? could have blown and would have made a big bang like a gun shot

Yeh, I think so. When I parked on the hill it started raising or lowering the sus. I guess that could be it then... I was worried it was the box
