Classic Insurance in the USA
Discussion
Hi!
I plan to buy a classic in the US next summer. I have an arrangement a trusted shipper and am ok with all aspects of import such as tax etc but what I would really like to do is use the car I buy in the US for a couple of weeks before I drop it off at the shippers. From what I can tell, US insurers (well at least the big one I spoke to) arent really set up for short term insurance, especially to foreigners. A bit tricky to insure it in the UK and have use 'abroad' before its registered in the UK I reckon. Any suggestions?
