Garage To Lift My F150
Discussion
I want to get my 04-08 F150 lifted to either stock & levelled or a 2" above stock overall lift. Currently it is lowered around 2" at the front (shorter struts) and around 4" at the rear (flip kit).
Although I am toying with the idea of doing it myself, not having a ramp or any air tools could make this a hell of a job on the driveway.
Is there any (cost) benefit of me buying all the parts and getting a local garage to undertake the work vs having one of the US importers/garages undertaking the work and supplying all the parts? If not, can anyone recommend someone to supply and fit everything in the South East?
Finally, what sort of quotes should I be expecting?

You can price up the parts or a lift kit from the USA reckon on $=£ by the time it's here if you buy through someone here, or buy the bits yourself & ship them through someone like Ron @ STS Imports which is a fair bit cheaper but will take around 6 weeks as he only has a container once a month. Anyone should be able to do the job if they're interested in labour only! Remember most places make money from the parts too.
