Your collective thoughts and wisdom on this would be very much appreciated.
My Lightning has covered just over 120,000 miles.
At around 50,000 miles I replaced the rear dampers, one broke, ordered direct from a Ford dealer in the states. I'm pretty certain that the Lightning ran Bilstein dampers all round but I am not so sure that the replacements although genuine Ford were Bilstein.
The truck is overdue for some TLC. A chap managed to smash into the front of the truck whilst parked outside my house. Decent bloke, knocked on the door and left all his details etc. So all covered by insurance, plus I need to tidy up some other bits and pieces, the traditional bubbles on the nose of the bonnet etc.
It is time for new discs and pads which I have bought already, I run the 380mm 8 pot Brembo kit.
But I reckon it is time for a suspension refresh. Had a little play in it tonight on the way home, first time in a while and it all felt a little bit to wayward. Going to bite the bullet and purchase some stupidly expensive Goodyear Eagle F1's
So New dampers all round and new front springs. So my question is do I order direct from a very helpful dealer in the states but I have serious doubts about them being OE Bilstein dampers. Or fit something else, maybe a different Bilstein damper. Your recommendations and who to buy from would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks smile

If you really want it to handle, you should go for the Hotchkiss TVS kit.

Many thanks for that. I'll give them a call next week.
I can get OE dampers for £55 each but they are not Bilstein as I thought. Front springs £120. But I'm not going to fit rubbish on the truck smile
