oil an filters

Hey lightning owners,,its oil change time,,first time for me,,what oil are ppl putting in theres? I was looking at the castrol edge 5w30,any thoughts? Also what motorcraft filter is the right one,,,,cheers

Motorcraft filter number is FL820S

Any quality synthetic 5w/20 or 5w/30 will be fine.

Adam you get everywhere you wouldnt happen to have the new ford part number for the filter would you,they seem to have changed it? And being uk ford they dont know about fl820s,what are they like lol

Ford Motorcraft filter UK p/n 4628534

That's the filter for the old 2.5 Mondeo so any Ford dealer should be able to help you out.
