Camaro convertible boot space
Discussion
Just booked a holiday for later this year, 12 days touring the Pacific Coast between LA and San Fransisco. For the trip I have booked a Camaro SS convertible (not sure if it will be a 2013 or 2014 model), now Mrs Manta is panicking that we won't be able to fit the luggage in it. We will only have 2 mid sized suitcases and a couple of squishy hand baggage bags, I am anticipating one suitcase in the boot and one on the back seats.
Can anyone with a Camaro confirm that she is right and I have been an idiot, or I am right and it will be OK.

I don't think there's too many in the UK, so don't expect a quick response from owners!
have a look here for some info http://www.ridelust.com/2011-chevy-camaro-2lt-conv...
I expect you will have to travel with some luggage on the back seat, as they don't look to have anywhere near as much room as a Mustang trunk. I had a quick look inside one in Florida a couple of years ago and it looked much smaller than my own car.
Also to lower the roof on a Camaro, you have to pull out a cargo cover which reduces the space even further from 10.24 to 7.85 cubic feet http://cars.about.com/od/chevrolet/ig/2011-Chevrol...
Mustangs don't have this issue, and it doesn't matter whether the roof is up or down regards trunk space. Also the Mustang has a much bigger opening.
I'm not trying to put you off, as given the choice I would like to try a Camaro
Enjoy your holiday, it sounds like heaven!
