jeep wrangler jk 5 door
Discussion
I'm thinking about buying a 2.8 auto jk wrangler has anyone got one or owned one? What are they like to drive? Reliability and how comftatble are they for someone who's 6ft 3? Are they prone to leaking around the doors and roofs? Are they noisy inside? In the 5 door models whats the boot space like? Are they prone to rusting and what are the common problems?
I'll intend to use it as a daily driver, green laning, throwing the dogs in the back etc
I'm really starting to like the wranglers and I don't think I'll ever buy another landrover

Plenty of JK owners there who can advise (you'll have to sign up, but easy enough), including a mate who has had his diesel JK remapped with great success.

I've not owned one, but I have driven some.
Personally I think they are probably the best 4x4 on the market. But they are a "proper" 4x4, so won't be as comfy or refined as some less capable options.
Personally I think they are no less civil than something like an MX-5. Just a lot more fun
The roof can leak a bit, but nothing to worry about too much. Far more watertight than a Defender.
The only 2 downers for JK ownership that I can see:
1. The weird and rather crap model and option line up for UK spec vehicles.
2. Having to deal with Jeep UK. Some of the dealers are fine, but Jeep UK themself seem to have no interest in the Wrangler, selling it or any customers who did buy one.
