Remote locking

My remote works fine for locking and unlocking the car, but appears to have a range of about 2 feet max outside the car.
Both fobs are the same, so its must be the bit in the car.

Anything I can do to improve the range? ISTR that the unti is in the passenger kick panel on a 4th gen camaro?

No idea I'm afraid, but I know my old mans 4th Gen with a Toad Alarm has a bloody long range.

I was messing with the key fob inside the house as far away from the car as possible and it still beeped the locked/unlocked.

Try holding it to your head. Seriously.

I seem to recall my Euro spec 4th gen had quite a decent range but my Ford Mondeo are variable depending on angle.
