What sort of feedback ?, does it work/do what it says on the box, is it better/worse than another make of kit?
Why are you thinking of fitting it & in what ?

Yes feed back on all of those topics would be good and yes I do have a new Transgo TF-1 kit and while doing a number of other jobs on the car over the winter I was thinking about fitting the kit to my 1991 Aston Martin Virage. I have asked similar question on AMOC but not much in the way of response, I'm guessing either very few or nobody has done it.

What are you hoping to achieve by installing this shift kit? I'm no expert, but a TF-1 isn't going to be substantially different in shift quality from stock, I think you'll find. If you want firmer shifts, hard-launches and to hold on to each gear throughout the rev range, go for TF-2.
I installed a Transgo HD-2 in my Corvette (4L60E) and it made a massive difference, but also produced a less comfortable 'street ride'. It was also a tt of a job to do.

Matt,

Thanks for the reply, I think the Virage is great however, the 3 speed Auto as standard is very slow responding either when Auto changing or Manually selecting, so if the TF-1 just generally sharpens up the changes I think it would be an improvement to the drive overall. I do not intend to Drag race the car so I would consider neck snapping gear changes undesirable and would not suit the car.

Cheers

That sounds like a good choice then - if you're not requiring really stout gear changes you should be in good shape. Hopefully you are more technically adept than me - there was a point where I had my transaxle in pieces on the bench and I was thinking, "What the hell have I talked myself into here?"
All worked out in the end, but it was something of a challenge for me.
