Dreadful, can't think of a good word to say about it...... oh wait a minute, a good word would be 'ste'
The 2010+ Camaro is a design classic in my eyes.
77-78 Trans-Ams are also a design classic.
Do not mix the two
I'd mix 'em up. Put the modern engine into the 77. Those 400's were so de-tuned and smogged, some of 'em were down to 180 horses or thereabouts. In fact, I would rod the whole of the 77 car, because the interiors are pretty shocking too.The 2010+ Camaro is a design classic in my eyes.

However, I do quite like the modern car as well.
Phew, did I hit every combo there? ;-))

quite cool, ive seen these before.WRONG ENGINE THOUGH!!!!!!
I agree to a certain extent about the engine being wrong but the V6's these days are much better than a few years ago. In the US I would have to have the V8 as fuel prices are so much lower but here on our small congested roads 335bhp is ample and the V6 will make it usable everyday!

I don't hate it. But I don't really see the point, in the UK Camaro's are as rare as rocking horse poop anyhow. So you hardly need to make one even rarer looking. So it just ends up being hugely expensive for not a lot extra IMO. And while the V6 is good, I think citing fuel costs and everyday usability as the reasons for justifying it are laughable and comical.
If it was say £5-8k cheaper than a non messed about with V6 Camaro, then sure. But paying more for it than a V8 SS would cost you, is rather insane.
It's a low spec 'Maro with a V6, add in the stupid donk wheels and it's a total no-no, in its favour it's not a bad looking kit (IMO) but at that price???? I'd rather have a Challi SRT8, Stang GT500 (or a Saleen/Rousch derivative) or 'Maro SS. You'd have to have to seriously love that particular car to make up for all the negatives especially at that price - as for the mpg argument, there's not a whole bunch of difference twixt the V8 and the V6 nor insurance advantages

I would agree with that. Modern mechanics in the old body, and a subtle workover of the interior (not too much "in your face", but modernized anyway).Trying to make the 5th gen like an old school Trans Am... BIG no go IMO.
