dodge nitro v jeep cherokee
Discussion
I spotted a tidy looking dodge nitro at a dealer the other day, with the V6 petrol motor. I know that these are related to the last version of the cherokee, but how similar under the skin?
We ran an early nitro v6 for a while whilst living in canada, it was pretty nice to drive, we never had any issues with it, I recall that it had switchable 4x4, but no low ratio etc
We currently have a 2003 cherokee v6, I was wondering what gains or losses I might be seeing swapping it for a 2008 nitro

Hi. This is just my opionion, but nitro is a newer better looking car, more goodies on board, and not many of them around. 3.7 petrol is a good one to go for.
Kj have been around for a while, easely available parts, still a nice vehicle but a nitro turns more heads than a kj. Regards...

cheers chaps,
is the nitro closer related to the kj cherokee (2002-2007) or the later square cut one?
are dodge parts available these days? dodge don't have much of a presence in the uk these days
The nitros seem to be priced a bit lower than the apparently equivalent jeeps - any reason, other than the "jeep" factor?
