Well, I was at one stage searching an SRT10 but that got scuppered by the War office.

Anyways, fast forward a few months and I managed to convince her (again) that we needed a truck. So, after a few weeks of monitoring the adds and seeing a few, I picked the best of the bunch within our price range (circa GBP7k).

So last wee did a deal on this 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500. 118,000 miles on the odo / 5.7l V8 / auto / sat nav / cruise control and a few electric bits

Seems to have had a few things changed on it, ut more will be done by us later

Plans are to raise it up some plus stuff yet to be agreed

Yeah, sorry about that hahaha. Cheers for the props.

Little bit too much "bling" for me so I will replace some of the chrome bits.

Does anybody have any recommendations for lift kits? This truck may see the desert max 6 times a year (if that), so its not so much about off road performance but about stance, looks and ride for the street.

Cheers

Agree, looking to see what I can do to "darken" them.
