Has anyone been to this show in the past?

I'm thinking about going in June but wanted to make sure it was worth it as its quite far away from me.

They're generally huge!
I've been to a few, but really it all depends on the weather. A lot turn up on the day and seeing as the fields are right by a river, if its been raining the week before they can easily turn into a mud fest.
That said, its a brilliant show and well worth going if the weather is nice. You will see hundreds of great looking cars. Often a bargain or two.

Saturday will still have most vehicles scattered and camped round the site and they usually provide entertainment and drinking in the marquee on Saturday night though most will have been drinking all day from cans. Most camp as it's cheap enough.
Usually a good atmosphere though I haven't been for years. All the cars park on the main field on Sunday for the show proper.
Weather is the crunch factor. A washout is not good and the ground is generally covered in duck poo.
