looking to buy an old cadillac which was imported in09 sadly the owner passed away the vehicle is not registered all the other paper work is there it may be missing part or whole of the title would it be hard to get a duplicate title .

IIRC it depends on which state it is registered in.

I believe whilst there is a registration document in all states only certain ones have a title document for historic vehicles.
