Lucra LC470 - Anyone driven one on here?
Discussion
I always keep an eye on the US custom / cottage car industry and quite often I think they produce some great products. They don't always appeal though due to either crazy prices or because of engineering or design shortcuts were made and the overall look is just too, well, American!
Then every now again they strike gold! The Lucra LC470.

For the equivalent of £52,000 ($85,000) you get:
• 0-60 in 2.5 sec with 505 hp GM LS7 motor
• 9.4 sec ¼ mile
• 54% of the car's weight on the rear tires
• Pulls 1.5 lateral G during high-speed cornering
• Single piece lightweight carbon fiber body
And it 'comfortably' accommodates drivers up to 6'7" even with the roof up.
For me, probably the most exciting US sports / race car in decades. Hints of AC Cobra, Jag E-Type, Ferrari Dino, & some Marcos & TVR DNA too. Has anyone had any wheel time with one of these variations? Can someone lend me £65K indefinitely?

I think the 630hp 505hp LS7 is more than 'enough' for the 900 KG's I'd be happy with any engine over 350hp...a nice straight six perhaps.
LS9 is the supercharged 630hp (And I couldn't agree more... 630hp for 900kg is just enough LOOOLredtwin said:
May be cheaper/easier to just fit an LS7 in a Ginetta?. Certainly would look better, something about the proportions of the Lucra LC470 seem off...never mind the name sounding like a Chinese market knock-off Lexus.
There are two bonnet types, the shallow rising & rounded version - looks fantasticAnd the steep rising, almost block type bonnet - looks awful
I'll take mine in Gulf Colours, please.
